Frequently asked questions
How do I screenshot a full web page in Chrome without an extension?
Open DevTools (F12), press Ctrl+Shift+P (⌘+Shift+P on Mac), type “screenshot” and choose “Capture full size screenshot”. Or use this tool, which works from any device including phones.
Why are some parts of the page missing?
Some pages load images only when you scroll (lazy loading) or use fixed-height containers with their own scroll bars. Full-page capture shows what the page renders when its full height is laid out.
Which format should I use for long pages?
JPG or WebP. Full-page screenshots of long pages are tall images, and PNG files get large quickly; JPG and WebP stay small at good quality.
