The entry was not found in cache or other local sources, for lookups where only local sources were queried. TODO(ericorth): Consider renaming to DNS_LOCAL_MISS or something like that as the cache is not necessarily queried either.

Chrome shows it as net::ERR_DNS_CACHE_MISS, error -804. puppeteer and Playwright report the same name when a page fails to load in Chromium.

When the page itself fails to load with ERR_DNS_CACHE_MISS, the API answers 502 with the message The target website could not be loaded (ERR_DNS_CACHE_MISS). (target_unreachable). Not billed.

Only the page's own load can fail a render. An image, script or frame of the page that fails with a network error does not: the page is captured as the browser shows it without that resource.
